Diamond Jubilee Street Party
Tuesday 5th June 2012 2-4pm
Midgley village will be celebrating this momentous occasion with a good old fashioned street party. There
will be a 50’s style band, children’s entertainer, games and the bar will be open. Because of the potential size
of the party we are asking for everyone to contribute by bringing some food. This can be sandwiches, salads,
dips, crisps, buns and cakes etc.
We have been lucky enough to get the road through Midgley closed from 1pm until 5pm, so please make a note of this if you are planning to drive through Midgley on that day.


Afternoon tea/ Book Exchange
First monday in the month 2pm-4pm in the community room
Bring along your books to swap and enjoy tea/coffee and homemade cakes in convivial company

Yoga Classes
Thursdays 4.45-5.45 and 6-7pm
Both classes are gentle yoga aimed at over 50s, although everyone welcome.
